Your Committee met on Monday, the 3rd instant, for the purpose of selecting books for the library, but owing to various lists of books and other information which had been written for, not having arrived, iiwas thought advisable after accepting a tender for the library furniture, to adjourn to Monday, 10th Sept. at 8 o'clock p.m. The attached sheet of | accounts is recommended for payment.
