.School Prizas. T6 THE EDITOB OF THE STA.B. Sre,— Do you know if aqy effort is going to be made this season to procure prizes for the children attending the Feilding State School? I notice that in the other school districts arouud, some provision has already been made, but no steps as yet appear to have been taken in our own. It is sincerely to be hoped that the highly objectioual»le and unsatisfactory plat» adopted last year, of sending the scholars round begging at^our doors or button-holing us in the street, for money to buy themselves prizes, will not be repeated. There wo«ld not be the slightest difficulty in getting up a concert or popular entertainmeut for so desirable an object, and it would be sure to be a success, as has bnen the case on former occasions. I just throw out the hint, and leave the suggestion to those who ' are able and willing to carry it out.— l am, <fee, . Ppiixo. —Bl||JMM.'VW»U'^*t M
