Manchester Cricket Club.
; ♦; The annual meeting of this club was held at the Denbigh Hotel on Thursday evening lasi. Mr Dawson in the chair. The minutes of the previous ordinary meeting were read and confirmed. The following officers for the new reason were elected:— H. L. Shenrill, Esq., President. D. H. Vlacarthur, and YVilliam Carthew, Ksqs., Vice Presidents. J. Taunt, Esq., Secretary and Treasurer. The following were elected a committee, three to 'form a quorum :— Messrs iSix, Fitz Herbert, W. Jackson, A. Thomson, F. Eoe. The match committee to consist of Messrs , iS'ix, Jackson an*d lioe. The Secretary was instructed to make the necessary ' arrangements with Mr Macarthur about the ground. A vote of chanks to • the CJiaiiuiitxi closed tlio proceedings.
