The New Foresters' Hall.
We hiiTe been shown the plans for the building of the new Foresters* Hall which is to be erected, in 1/owen street. The 4fy, following is a brief description : — The "■ ground-floor .plan is, 42ft'x 26ft, - outside meatturement. The. inside measurement of, the mam. hall .is 30ft x 25ft. There are two committee rooms at the front end, each 10ft x 9ft 6in. The vestibale is 10ft x sft. The walls are 13ft in height. The building has a' very handsome front, with folding doors 4ft 6in.' There is also tt door at the back. There are three windows on each side, and two in the front. , The braces of the building are of iron. The roof is of corrugated iron, with .ft ventilator in. the centre. The inside walls are matched-lined and painted, with a varnished dado all round:. The design is dltogetner a handsome 'and pleasing one, and providrs every accommodation,, for the. purposes, of the building. It is the work of Mr V. de J. Clere of Wanganui. Messrs Watts and Dilderbeck have . secured tho contract for the erection of fclie buildiny.
