The quarterly meeting of the Primitive M ethodist Church in connection with the Manawatu Circuit was held in the Feild* . ing Church on Monday last. There were thirteen officials present,- all the place* being represented except Foxton. It was found ■ that all the congregations and societies were in a healthy state. The other places contributed * proportionately well. The question of ' Methodist Union was introduced by the Chairman (.Rev. J. Clover), and was folly discussed by the meeting, after which it was submitted to the vote, when, with one exception, the meeting unanimously voted in favor of the proposed union.
