It is very seldom that shocks of earthquake have been felt so plainly in England as wag the case on Monday, June 26, in North Devon. Holsworthy, Bideford, Hartland, Clorelly, and Bude, were all of them sensibly shaken. A panic was erpated, and the eounlry folk were terrified with the motion that the cad of the world was athaad.
