Sie, — When leaving th» Feilding station by the last train on Saturday, I purchased a copy of the Advocate, little thinking what » valuable piece of information I should glean therefrom. My friend the editor, whilst writing on the late Education Board meeting re scholarship examination, breaks forth as follows: — " The plural of these words, as everj boy who has mastered the first declension must be aware, are fauna and flora respectively." Now, sir, I am mueh afraid that the worthy editor is not aware that Fauna and Flora, as applied to certain deities, have no plural, and that when taken in their common English sense, are already plural in meaning, and have therefore no plural form. — I am, &c, Antc-Cyclonk.
