The "three - masted schooner Alma j owned by Henry, Guthrte, Henderson and Patterson.vof Dunedm, the latter m command, was lost on the voyage from Wauganui to Otookhampton with sleepers The crew, were picked up. by a vessel and landed at Port Elizabeth 300 miles from Brisbane. Insurance on Hull £400, Equitable £400, United Rational £450i ; 0f the latter the Victoria apd JNew Zealand each have £150.
