The book is a perfect gem, being not only handsomely bound, but the price is within reach of every class of musicians Of the musical part of the book, Hautrie West, the distinguished Professor of Music, in Wellington, writes as follows :— "It is evident that the ' Treasury of Song' has been compiled by one who thoroughly understands the requirements of the many. The work will doubtless receive what it really merits, viz., a very large I circalation." The principal music teachers in the Colony have unanimously certified to the value of the book. The book concludes with a faithful biography of the most, eminent composers and musical artists, accompanied by well executed steel engraving*.— Advt.
