The County of Oroua.
• In the General Government Gazette of Thursday, June 28th last, the boundaries of the County of Orona are proclaimed. The new County is divided into the Kiwitea. Waituna, Ashurst, Taonui, Filzherbert r'.dinys, and the following yentleinen are appointed as Returning Officers for
the respective ridings as follows: Eiwilea, E. Goodbeh;:ee ; Waituna, 11. L. Shebwill; Aslmrst, E. H. Weight; TnoMui, T. S. Hoe; Fitzherbert, F. Mowlem. Saturday, the 21st, inst., is the day appointed for holding the first election of Councillors for the several ridings, and Saturday, the 28th July, 1883, at 12.30 in the afternoon, at the office of the Manchester Road Board, Feilding, to be the time and place for holding the first meeting of the Councillors. * Pressure on our advertising space compels us to hold over a quantity of reading matter.
