There are still ten witnesses to be examined for the prosecution. A fire broke out this morning in the stables of Griffin and Sons, Alton street. The fire had a good hold before the alarm was given, but with a good supply of water it was sbon got under. The stables and granary are insured in the Colonial for £100 Contents are uninsured.
