Arrival of the lonic.
[PEB UNITED PBEBS ASSOCIATION.] Wellington, This Day. The lonic, Captain E. O'Hallet, E.N., arrived in the harbor shortly after midnight, having made the passage in 43 days 22 hours from Plymouth, inclusive of 16 hours detention at Teneriff, for coaling purposes, the actual period under way being 43 days 6 hours. Fine weather with moderate winds was experienced throughout the voyage, and no occurrence of special interest took place. The ship has arrived in beautifully clean order, and in addition to the Government emigrants, she has a considerable number of saloon passengers, all well There are six of the regular employees of N. Z. S. Company serving as officers on board, Capt Bone, late of Bakaia, being second
ofEcer.
