To Stock Dealers.
For the benefit of those persons who were- not present at the. stock ' sale of Messrs .Halcombe; and Sberwill's oh Thursday last, we may mention that Mr Sherwill specially called the 1 attention of the company to the fact that persons bringing sheep to the yards were frequently not sufficiently particular in dividing off the animals as to sex, age, <fee. He 'said it was cotfimon that 'when a purchaser had bought a pen of sheep as ewes He found a good number of them to be ; wethers; and vice versa, and respectfully requested the settlers to avoid this as much as possible,. so. a? to prevent the disappointment and dissatisfaction which resulted from the circumstance.
