[PKB UKITBX> PBBBB JISSOCIATIOV.] Auckland, This Pay. A glaring case of slj grog-selling was brought to light through the activity of Sergeant fiist. The offender, a Maori, described as a Wesleyan local preacher living at Kenned j Bay, has been in the habit • f selling spirits to Maoris and bushmen. The Magistrate considered the offence thoroughly proved, and fined tbe prisoner £20, with costs £8.
