Further nuggets have been ! found, and it is thought not improbj able that a gold mine may bo discovered. A few miles distant in the same valley is tbe Clogan Gold Mine, where in 1860 cold was found to the value of '£36,000, «nd for a few years the mine was worked so successfully as to yield a profit of £20,000.
