At tho Postal Conference yesterday resolutions were adopted in favor of forming (? joining) the Postal Union. The resolutions will be forwarded to the New Zealand Government for their concurrence. Received May 12, 1 p.m.] Sydney, This Day. Before the conclusion of the sittings of the Intercolonial Conference, a resolution was passed in favor of the reduction of rates on press telegrams from Europe by 25 per cent. It was also decided that Intercolonial telegrams between Victoria and New South Wales should be reduced to one shilling per ten words. The other colonies represented would not agree to similar reductions.
