Tenders for the Tasmanianhalf million loan were opened to-day and were found to amount to the exact sum required. The average of tenders was £98 10s, being 10s above the fixed minimum. Patrick Delaney and Thomas Oaflrey, two of the Phoenix Park prisoners, have confessed to complicity in the murder of Lord Cavendish and Mr Bourke, and have been sentenced to death. Caibo, May 2.
