THE EDITOR OF THE F F. ' &DIKO STAB. •■■ ; ;--. Sib,— l understand that the larrikiuism which has for the past two years been somewhat subdued is again raising its head in Feilding. On Saturday night several foolish tricks were played on the property of some of the residents in the ; Borough, and again on Sunday evening ■"■' some mischeivous hoys were engaged in J throwing stones on to the roofs of houses • X and disturbing the inmates. I do not' think the silly individuals who play these - tricks really know the penalties, in the , shape of imprisonment, they render themselves liable to, or they would not run such risk for the sake of what they imagine to be "a la'rlr." I can, only ff t I warn them that the magistrates of this p town are determined to put down, a^drr^ keep down tbis evil, and that any offender I whoever he may be, when brought before us and convicted will be most severely] s •-».•> dealt with, and will only, after this eau- : i- ■ tion, have himself to blame.— -I ftm/Acv >' * D. H. Macarthur. P.S. — The foregoing remarks appJy^X ~ the conduct complained ol in your' last issue by Citizen. . K.- >
