The Board of Reviewers under the Property Assessment Act have raised up to the present time the valuations of properties in. the district over £50,000. The most* of these were on appeals by Mr "perrey, the Commissioner, against the yalue of the valuators. Wellington, This Day. Owing to the short; time before the opening of Parliment Major Atkinson will be unable to proceed North and lecture oh National Assurance, &c. He will, however, address his constituents before Parliament meets. .. Should the alterations to . Parliament House be completed in time, members will be called together for the first week in June. - .
