TERRIBLE EXPLOSION.
40 PEOPLE KILLED.
ei-.uter's telegbams. Received April 7. 2 p.m.! Lo.vdon, April 6. A serious explosion has been caused by an accidental disehaige of a quantity of dynamite, which was being used for blasting purposes, occurred to-day, and caused the death of forty men who were working near the scene of the explosion. St Petersburg, April 6. Further intelligence to hand from Moscow denies the truth of the statement current yesterday that a mine had been discovered in that city.
