ASSESSMENT COURT.

A meeting of the. Assessment '■ "ourt for the Borough of Feilding, was held at €ourt House, yesterday, for the purpose of hearing the objections, of which notice had been given. The reviewers present "were Messrs Willis, Sanson and Monrad. Following is the list of objections : — W. Mxwell, W. Fowles, J. S, Fitzgerald, T, F. Eotheram, W. G. Crawford, Wilson and Eichardson, A. P. Mason, W- W. Taylor. H. Churton, J. Harris, J. R. Nathan, and K. McKenzie •did not put in any appearance. E. & C. Aid Corporation— £272 to be reduced to £207. Part of same section J8250 to be reduced to £150. Section 191, 34 acres, £510 reduced to £340. Another section, £204 reduced to £153. Mr Chamberlain's objection to being assessed £2,5°0 was allowed ; reduced lo £2,200. Mr Chamberlain said that had It not been for the comments for not advertising the meeting, that appeared in the last issue of the Feuding Stab, he have beea in ignorance of the meeting. Mr Willis said if Mr Chamberlain liad attended at Palmeraton, he would lave known that the Court was adjourned to Feilding.
