AN ENTERTAINMENT.

On Thursday night an entertainment* consisting of photographic transparencies, illustrated ity the oxy-hydrogen light, was given in the Town Hall by Mr Villers de Beere, C.E. The views consisted ehieflf of photographic representations of various parts of New Zealand and Australia. There was a good attendance, especially of young people, who were'Tery enthusiastic in their expression* of approval.
