. _» (PEB UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Oamaru, This Day. The body of a man named George Quail, a miner, was found in a waterrace yesterday morning. He comes from Livingstone. Marks of violence were found on his head, and a handkerchief was tied tightly round his throat. It is supposed that he was murdered. Later. An inquest was held at Duntroon last night, on the body of George Quail, found yesterday in a water-race. Dr Delautour, who had made a post mortem, stated he had not found any marks of violence on the body. The jury returned a verdict of found drowned.
