THE LYELL MURDER.
(pee united pbess association.) Lyell, This Day. John Davidson and Mary Gramatica were to-day committed for trial at the sitting of the Supreme Court, to be held at Nelson in June next, for the wilful murder of Dennis Quinlan, at Lyell, on the 26th of January last. The onlj- fresh disclosure is that Mary Gramatica says Davidson told her he had stabbed Quinlan to the heart. The prosecution was conducted by Inspector Emerson.
