RANGITIKEI HARMONIO SOCIETY.

In spite of the inclemency of the ! weather, the Town Hall was well filled with an appreciative audience. ihe whole of the pieces in the programme were gone through in a most pleasing manner. Special mention must be made of the correct way in which the choruses were taken, the lights and shades being especially pleasing. No 4 duet, No 6 solo, English concertina, and No 10 chorus were the gems of the evening, being vociferously encored and duly responded to. The society is to be congratulated in the marked progress that is being made in the rendering of first-class music.
