There was a large attendance of Home and Foreign buyers, and a good demand was experienced. Opening catalogue comprises 61,000 bales. Auctions close on March 22. Caibo, February 20. The racing for the Hobart Cup resulted in a victory for Assyrian by half -a-length; Rheseus, second ; time, 3mins. 12secs. Sydney, This Day. Sailed, this morning, Union Company's steamship Te Anan, for the Bluff. Melbourne, This Day. The following is the bowling analysis in the second innings yesterday :—Spofforth, 2 wickets for 57 runs ; Boyle, 2 for 35; Palmer, 2 for 59; Midwiniei. 2 for 21 ; Horan, 2 for 15.
