— ♦ The District Council of this Order opened in Wellington on Monday last The report showed an improvement in the financial position, and an increase of 31 members, making the present membership 709 benefit and 63 honorary. A tribute of respect was paid to the memory of Bro. iier. J. B. Richardson, who was lost in the Tararua. The delegates present from this district were as follows : — Feilding, Bro. Rev. R. Feuneli ; Sandon, Bro. F. H. Fraser; Palmerston North, Bro. J. Poad; Woodville, Brother J. Hutchens.
