RAILWAY RETURNS.
♦ We compile the following returns from the Gazette of the/5 th inst, showing traffic returns on the Wanganui - Manawatu section of the railway for the four week 3 ending the 6th January.
This shows an increase of £732 orer the previous month (December), and of £270 over the corresponding period last year. The increase is entirely in the item oi passengers.
