The latter went in first, and at the conclusion of the day's play had scored 274 runs for the loss of eight wickets. The highest scorers were, Bonner, 42; and McDonnell, 61. Brisbane. Feb. 9. On her last voyage to this port the steamship Corea was caught in a severe gale. The decks were swept, and three seamen drowued.
