FIRE AT GISBORNE.

(PEB UNITED PBESS ASSOCIATION.) Gisbobne, This Day. Between 8 and 9 o'clock last night, the Poverty Bay Herald office wns fired by an incendiary. A portion of the printing office was destroyed, but no damage was done by the fire to the type or machinery. Rain was falling heavily at the time, and consequently few people were about. The fire was extinguished by willing hands, who came upon the scene at the sound of the fire- bell. The same spot where the fire was discovered last night was set fire to a year ago. The room used by the editor had also been set fire to, but thj fire appears to have gone out. I
