o The Jane Douglas will leave Foxton for Wellington, To-morrow.-Stevens and Gorton will hold a stock sale at Awahuri, on Friday next. Mr Cottrell's business notices will be found in the "wanted" column. A preliminary announcement from Mr J. C. Thompson, appears on our Ist page. Mr James Linton will hold a large sale of land at Bunnythorpe, on the 20th. A public picnic will be held on the Oval on Good Friday. A public meeting re Oddfellows, will be held at Roe's Hotel on S iturday night. An advertisement from the Wanganui Education Board, appears on the Ist page. All outstanding accounts at the bank of N.S.W., (Feilding branch), have been trans fered to Wanganui. Tbe railway time-table has been altered to suit the Foxton Races, on Monday next Mr Hamilton's Great Clearing Cash Drapery Sale commences to-morrow, in the old Feilding Ready Money Store. A meeting will be held at Roe's Hotel, at 8 p.m. on Saturday, re Feilding Anniversary. Halcombe and Sherwill will hold a sale of household goods, at the bank of New South Wales, on Saturday next. Mr Kitchen, saddler, announces that he has every description of saddlery, harness, &c on hand. (Victoria Avenue, W anganui).
