G. L. Jenness, Wellington, has on hand a very large stock of jewe lery. A. Farmer, cabinetmaker, upholsterer, &c, will attend to country orders with despatch. An election of one Councillor for the Feilding Borough Council, \vill be held on the 16th inst, A. Eiekuian, of Wellington, is a wholesale and retail importer of boots and shoes. An announcement from A. J. Bennett, Ironmonger, Wellington, appears elsewhere. Fresh tenders for the collection of dog t:ix, must be sent to the Countv Clerk, at Foxton, by noon on January flth.
