The service in the Church of England , on Christmas Day was conducted by the ; Curate, the Key. J. Jones. The interior of the building was beautifully decorated o 1 with flowers and evergreens. This °' " labor of love" was done by some of the ladies of the congregation, assisted by r> a few of the " sterner sex", and had a very pretty effect. The congregat iun was a large one. The choir chanted the whole of the services. Mr Jones delivered a very impressive sermon, after which the i Holy Communion was partaken of by a ! number of persons of both sexes.
