Telejrrams havo been received from ' Jamaca reporting that the whole of tbe business portion of Kingston, the princi- . pal town of the Island, has been destroyed by fire. The less is estimated at fully L6iooo,floa December 14. The fire which brake ont at Hampton ; Court lias now been subdued. The dest truction has been confined to private apartments of tbe palace. All the pubI lie portions hare been saved. - '
[FEB UNITED PBESg ASSOCIATION.] Onbhunga, This Day. A fire at Onehunga yesterday morning destroyed eleven buildings, the insurances on which amount to £2,095. It originated in a hay-loft attached to the Hibernian hott-, and there is reason fox suspecting a worthless fellow named _Jennell, who slept in tbe loft, caused the fire either by accident or design.
