THE HORTICULTURAL SHOW.
♦ On next Wednesday the Feildinj Spring Show wiU be held in the Publii H aU. We are informed by the Secretary that everything that can be done for tin convenience of the exhibitors and th< public has been attended to by the committee, llie arrangements made for the distribution of prizes are also very com. plete, so that prizetakers wiU receive rewards promptly, and without any *w vexatious delay. All exhibitors are requested to be as punctual as possible in bringing their exhibits to the building tc enable the committee to symmetrically arrange them in proper order, and thus afford greater facilities to the judges, and afterwards to the spectators, of noting their respective merits. The ball which follows the show, will be a pleasant assemblage, as many of the fair sex have Stated their intention of being present. Tue proceeds of this part of tbe entertainment are to be devoted towards the purchase of instruments for the Makino Band, the members of which will provide music for the dancing. The Fife and Drum Band will play during the show, and will also relieve the String Band during the dancing. Plenty of fir.st-class Uiusic will be provided, which should assist greatly the success of the day's work.
