A HANDSOME PRIZE.

- -•- The tablet presented by Mr Gosling to the Horticultural Show, as a prize for the best collection of pot plants, is a beautiful work of art. A scriptural in« cription is supported on each side with well executed drawings of New Zealand ferns, and at the foot is represented a group of flowers hanging in festoons. The other parts are filled in with magnificently colored bunches of flowers. We congratulate Mr Gosling on his artistic taste and ability, and consider the prizetaker will be doubly fortunate in winning so charming an ornament. Mr Eade has it in hand for framing, and his workmanship will considerauly enhance its value as a prize.
