THE MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS.
-♦ Th*e elections on Wednesday passed off very quietly, and resulted in the rel urn of Mr H. Worsfold, who received 44 votes, and Messrs Daw and l;oe 19 and 11 votes respectively. Mr Worsfold took his seat at the Council table and signed the usual obligation on Thursday last. , I he library rate was passed by a majority of 38.
