Mrs Leary, of Palmerston, wants a general servant. Mr It. Loudon has a dwelling house on The Square to let. Mr Morphy's brake lias been laid on to convey passengers to the Wesleyan picnic. H. Andieson has received a fresh supply of Oysters and Smoked Mullet. James Laing has taken the Denbigh Hotel Livery and Bait Stablos. The Rev H. M. Murray will lecture in the Presbyterian Church, to-morrow evening. The thoroughbred stallion Saturn will travel in Manawatu and Kangitikei this season. A public meeting in connection with the Feilding Annual Sports, will be held in the Public Hall, this evening, at 8 p.m. The Manchester Rifle Volunteers will parade for Government inspection and exercise at 6.30 p.m on the 9th inst. A notice to the owner of section 79x in the Manchester Block, to m ke a fence, will be found elsewhere. James Weight notifies eltewhere that he is now proprietor of the Princess Hotel, Palmerston. The Xiwitea Highway District general elections will be held next Friday. Nominations must be sent in before Wednesday, the Bth inst. Halcombe and Sherwill will hold a sale of land, and a very extensive stock sale, at their yards, Warwick-street, on Tuesday next. Stevens and Gorton have reduced the charges of commission for their stock sales in the Manawatu and Ilangitikei Counties. The new spring and summer goods in great variety are now opened up.
