WELLINGTON MEAT EXPORT COMPANY.
1 The following circular has just been issued by Mr S. Carrol, the Secretary eof the Company ; — I am instructed to I J inform you that the directors have . chartered the ship Lady Jocelyn to 1 load frozen meat anl dairy produce 1 from this port in January-February next, and that the rates of freight agreed upon are the same as those ' for the Dunedin, from Port Chalmers, viz., 2£d per 1') for meat and Ifd for dairy produce. The cost of coal and oil for freezing- the cargo here, and for keeping it frozen in London clocks 1 will also have to be paid by shippers. The directors, owing* to the limited capital at their command, do not intend to purchase any of the cargo on company's account, but will, if desired by shippers, arrange for the slaughtering-, shipping, and disposal of their produce in England at the lowest possible rates. Tr is expected that insurance ajainst all risks, includingdecay, will he ohtainiiblp at rates nor excperiins those psil on the Mntanra'« carg-o, viz., seven guineas per rent, on 75 per cent of London value.
