FOOTBALL.
New South Wales v. Wellington. [peb united peeßß association.] Wellington, This Day. The return football match between the New South Wales team and Wellington, was played yesterday afternoon. The attendance was small, only about 700 of the public being present, although a half holiday was proclaimed. George ("ampbell was captain of the Wellington team. The game resulted in favor of Sydney by oiy? goal (kicked from field) and two tries, or eight to nothing. The Wellington men played well, but were overmatched. The visitors owe their success to Jtaper (captain), Flynn, Richmond, Higg, and Walker. A strong north-west wind was blowing all day with threatening slowers.
