HORR IBLE MURDER IN IRELAND.
Five young m-u, son 6 of farmers, Lave been arrested on suspicion of complicity in the murder of a man named Joyce and hia entire family. They were murdered in their own house in County Galwav. The family consisted of Juyce, his mother, wife, and daughter. They were fired at and killed by a party of men, two ioys beuig also wounded. It is believed in the 1 -cality that the Joyce* gave information relative to the mur-di-r of Lord Ardilaum's bailiff*, whose bodies were found bound together in Lough Conn One of -he two boys won nued at the time Joyce's family were murdered has died of his wound*. He was oidy 14 yearn old 'lhe other hoy, who is but 12, is in v very prostrate condition. He states that the assasMiiH, who wereMisgiiiaed. numbered four or five. Joyce's mother was ov-?r 80 years of age. Her bod} was devoured by dogs before) the corpse was discovered. The house iv which the family lived presents a shocking spectacle. The bodies of the victims lie on the floor riddled with bullets, and mangled as if tbey bud been battered with a hamm«r. The murder was the most horrible which ever disgraced the country. Four iuen have been arrested on suspicion. Ihe police found three eyewitnesses to the massacre of Joyce's family, and they positively indenti lied the four men as having been over-ho-ard {dotting the murder. — Post's Loudon correspondent.
