The Manchester Rifles will parade for inspection aud exercise on Thursday, the 14th instant, at 9.30 p.m. A meeting of the Manchester Horticultural Society takes place this evening, at 8 o'clock, at the Highway Board Office. Tingey's Wanganui advertisement. This well known firm I have just received a large consignment of varnishes, paperhangings, white lead, I &c. The advertisement will be found on j our first page. Excelsior Sale of Clothing, cretonnes, black lustres, mendings, "&c, <fcc, purchased from the trustees in the estate of Thos Jones, at a discpunt of 28£ off original cost, will be offered for one week for Cash, at 40 per cent lower than prices I now ruling.
