FIRE BRIGADE MEETING.

We again remind our readers of the public meeting, called for this evening, at Roe's Hotel, by Mr Loudon, to consider the question of forming a Fire Brigade in the town of Feilding. The chair will be taken at 8 o'clock, and as the matter is one of great importance to the welfare of the citizens generally, we hope to see a large attendance on the part of the public. We have already dwelt upon the urgent necessity that exists for the formation of such an institution in our town, and we hope that to-night's meeting will result in the establishment of a well-organised and efficient Feilding Fire Brigade.
