♦— The ceremony of • installation of the Worshipful Master and officers of the ' Feilding Masooic Lodge, No 1940, E.' .'., took place at the Masonic Hall last evening. Bros Past Masters Batt, Keeling, and King, were the installing officers. Bro Past Master the Rev. Joshua Jones, 470, S.C, Chaplain. After the usual ceremonies Bro George Kirton was invested as W.M., Bro Stevens, S.W., Bro Haybittle, J.W., Bro T. W. K. Forster, Secretary, Bro P. Bartholomew, Treasurer, Bro E. H. Wright, S.D., and Bro Jones, J.D. During the proce^t ings Bro T. W. K. Forster A presented with a niasouic jewel i_i testimony of his valuable services as secretary during the past year. The United Manawatu Lodge, No 1721 visited as a lodge, and were represented by Bro Keeling, W.M., Bro Nannestad, S.W., Bro Bryant, S.D., Bros Batchelar, Hoe and Haybittle. The Rangitikei Lodge was represented by Bro Monro, W.M., Bro Broughton, J.W., Bro Stevenson, 1.G., and Bro Curtis represented Lodge Warterloo, 463, S.C. /Vf ter the installations the brethren adjourned to a banquet, which was held in the Lodge room, after partaking of which the usual Loyal and Masonic toasts were given and responded to. A most enjoyable evening was spent, being enlivened with songs and recitations, which were contributed largely by the visitors, and was concluded by a hearty rote of thanks to Host Bro Hoo for the very creditable manner in. which he had laid the banquet.
