THE DAIRYING SEASON. TRANSPORT DIFFICULTIES. The new creamery season is starting '"■ell. Tim cows are coming- in in good condition, and already them is a good Hush of cream. The''pasture's are looking very 'well. The new cream contractor started al Ihe beginning of this month. That settlors are having diliieulty in" getting their (‘ream out from Creamery Road, as the stale of this road in places is almost impassable, us evident. A, few days ago a. rather amusing scene to the onlooker happened on this road. The line weather tempted a settler to try Ids motor-car over a part of Ihe road that had just, been repaired by the tilling in of tin* boles with li-tree, bill when the ear struck the road it went down over I!m running boards. After trying some time to get out, the owner .was forced to take off bis boots, roll up ids pants tu bis knees, and try to lever the car out. and bul for tile help of some neighbours coming along, be might have been (here slill.
The settlers Tire at present taking a great interest in the dairy business, and ail are looking forward to a very successful coming season. A fair amount of potatoes have been planted this season in the district.
