A PUKEKOHE INVENTION.
WEBSTER’S ANTI-GLARE ATTACHMENT. FOR MOTOR HEADLIGHTS. A representative of the Times waf recently given a .demonstration of Webster’s anti-glare attachment few motor headlights, and was considerably surprised at the simplicity and effectiveness of the invention. In the first place the necessity for dimmers is done <away with, then the rays of lijght .instead qf striking up into the eyes of an approaching motorist are kept down oq to the roadway. Another feature is that the light is spread out to the footpaths, showing comers or pedestrians quite plainly and without glare. The invention is so simple, and can be so easily applied, no structural alterations being required, that a big future ifcfr it should be assured-
When one considers the danger of the glaring headlights so frequently seen on our roads ,at nighty anything Which will tend to make life more safe and driving a greater pleasure is sure of a very wide market.
We congratulate Mr Webster upon his timely little invention *and hope that it meets with the success it deserves.
