PLUNKET SOCIETY.
MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of the Pukekohe Plunket Society was held in the County Council Chambers on Monday, 13th. The question of raising funds to carry on the work was considered, and it was decided in this connection to hold (a “flannel dance” and a street stall early in December, the date to be advertised later. An “At Home,’ 1 ’ to which all members and friends are cordiaby invited, will be held on the pftemoon of Friday, December Ist, when arrangements for the stall will be discussed over a friendly cup of tea, During the meeting a letter, with photo'enelosed, was" received from a former resident of Pukekohe. The picture wa;s o£ a Irittle boy, who, under Plunket methods, had developed from a puny baby into a remarkably fine, sturdy child., The mother ‘stated that she was very rgateful to the Society for help and advice given, and intended to make known "as widely as possible the great benefit co be derived from consuming the Plunket nurse in all cases where the little ones are not making satisfactory progress. Other letters in a similar strain have been received from time to time.
