PUKEOWARE STATION.
Strong complaints are still being made about the roadless station at Pukekoware, It is feared by farmers and others living out that way that the station will finally be. come a dead letter unless some access is soon made to lit. The statiyon looks all right from the train there is a goods shed!, waiting- room, and there are cattle yards . All tthese are ready for use ; but the trouble is the thirty chain toad to them is mucky and impassable in winter, and over grown with gorse as well, in summer and winter. The County Council no doubt has a lot to think, of, and many more important works no carry out, with insufficient funds at its disposal all the time ; but it is most unfortunate for the people for whom the station was built, if they are now prevented from usgng it. ' No doubt if the seriousness of the position is realised, some steps will be taken now the winter is over to have a passable road made to the station, Waiuku News.
