QUEEN CARNIVAL.
At a meeting- held on Thursday last, it was decided to close th© carnival at 1.30 on Tuesday, the 31st inst. A commfitftee was set up to arrange for the crowning ceremony. There was an error in the votes of the Soldies’ Queen in Friday’s issue. The votes credited to her should have been 4000.
