" MARKET REPORT. The ranklin Farmers’ Auctioneering Company, Limited, report: At our usual weekly sale on Friday wo had a good attendance with good entries in mosl lines. Pigs came forward in good numbers, and found ready sale at prices considerably in advance of last weitk. We quote: Weaners, small 10/, to 12/, good weaners IG/ to 20/, . slips 21/ to 25/G. ■ Poultry was entertVd in good numbers (full pens) and all sold at. good prices, with a demand not satisfied: light hens, 2/9 to 3/3; heavy breeds, 3/6 to 4/9, - according to condition; roosters, 3/9 to 5/6; ducks, 3/ to 3/6. Vegetables were in short supply; cabbage sold at 2/6 to 3/ dozen: cauliflowers, 4/ to 8/ dozen; parsnips, 8/ cwt. Lemons, plentiful supply, sold at from 6d to 8d dozen. Apples, only second grade entered, and sold at from 3/ to 6/ case. Bacon, good, from 6d to ,8d lb. Furniture was unsaleable. A quantity of sundries sold at satisfactory prices.
